Financial Support to Help Make Your Education More Affordable

Annual Awards

Columbia College is committed to helping students achieve their educational goals. Each year, we award more than $1.87 million in scholarships and grants to eligible students, helping make education more affordable and supporting their path to success. We awards more than $1.87 million in scholarships and grants each year, including $1.75 million in Presidential Scholarships, $100,000 in Key Grants, and $20,000 in International Scholarships.

Columbia College Key Grants provide $100 to $4,000 in need-based financial support for eligible students during their first academic year. This grant is designed to help students with the greatest financial need, and unlike a loan, it does not need to be repaid. Please note that ESL students are not eligible, and award amounts and eligibility requirements may vary.

Columbia College Key Grant Scholarship Selection Process
  • Students are ranked by SAI, starting with those at zero or negative SAI.
  • Remaining funds after initial disbursements are distributed to eligible students in subsequent sessions.
  • In the final session of an award year, any remaining funds are awarded to eligible FSEOG recipients with the lowest SAI who did not receive Pell Grants.

Eligible low-income VESL students may receive up to $2,100 through the Presidential Scholarship. This financial award does not need to be repaid.
