The following are three places in Washington D.C. area that you may like to visit during the spring break. 1. Capitol Hill Capitol Hill, the United States Congress, is the largest historic residential neighborhood in Washington D.C. Since 1800 the building known as the Capitol has been the home of the Congress of the United States and the workplace of many residents of the Capitol Hill neighborhood. National Cherry Blossom Festival

Columbia College ESL Department is hosting a field trip to National Cherry Blossom Festival. We will be featuring contests and many prizes! All ESL students are encouraged to attend. Student Welcome Day

Student Welcome Day was held both on Monday and Tuesday, March 24-25, 2014 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. We celebrated the beginning of the session II, welcomed all current students back and especially new students. We also welcomed new instructors. We prepared some gifts for students and instructors: school calendars, school cups, school bags, nail polish bottles, cookies and candies in front of the ESL office on the second floor. All of the students and instructors celebrated the new session and had a good time all together.
