Columbia College and Chungbuk Health and Science University(CHSU) signed MOU including mutual cooperation in student and faculty exchange, English training and global internship program. Chungbuk Health and Science University announced special cooperation to build Health College in Columbia College. CHSU is 16th Korean University that has cooperation agreement with Columbia College.      

Memorial Day is a day of remembrance for those who have died serving our country. This is a great time to honor our veterans and famous Americans by visiting the monuments in Washington, DC. The Memorial Day weekend also marks the beginning of the busy summer season and the Washington, DC region celebrates with family friendly events and special services. Mother's Day in the United States is annually held on the second Sunday of May. It celebrates motherhood and it is a time to appreciate mothers and mother figures. Common Mother's Day gifts are flowers, chocolate, candy, clothing, jewelry and treats, such as a beauty treatment or trip to a spa. ESL students in advanced levels are invited to join a Columbia College Movie Club (CCMC) on May 15th at 2:30pm. They will watch a movie, discuss and improve their English skills. Brave will be played this time.

ESL students and teachers went to the Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington, DC on April 4th, 2013. Peak bloom has been adjusted due to the cooler weather; however, it was sunny enough to enjoy the outdoor activity.  Almost 80 students and 20 instructors joined this beautiful trip.  

The Cosmetology School of Columbia College held a private graduation and hair & fashion show for close friends and family. Congratulations to Nayoun, Diana, Ivonne, Gaby, Mireya, and Maria.
