The Massage Therapy seminar held on last Thursday was very successful. The seminar was well-organized and prepared.  The attendants could have lots of information about the massage therapy program and experience the some of the popular skill through the demonstration. The school visiting from Council on Occupational Education (COE) has been carried out on July 17th and 18th on Silver Spring campus. Dr. Alex Wittig, Executive Associate Director of COE and Dr. Carroll Coakely, education professor, visited Silver Spring campus and inspected overall operation and facilities for 2 days. The team visiting evaluated many aspects in the campus – school and academic program operation, student service, faculty, financial aspect, and campus safety and the school received satisfactory evaluation in all 51 categories. Columbia College greatly appreciates all of students and faculties for the cooperation to make the successful team visiting.

Columbia College attended the 8th Annual Job Fair of Korean- American Community on last June 18th, 2011. The event was very successful with many participated companies and organizations. Many people visited the event and  handed in their resume to a company or organization. Some of them could have an interview at the site.
