The following are three places in Washington D.C. area that you may like to visit during the spring break.

1. Capitol Hill

Capitol Hill, the United States Congress, is the largest historic residential neighborhood in Washington D.C. Since 1800 the building known as the Capitol has been the home of the Congress of the United States and the workplace of many residents of the Capitol Hill neighborhood. The Capitol is located inside the Capitol Hill historic district listed on the National Register of Historic Places, but it is also listed separately on the NRHP.

2. Smithsonian National Museum of American History

The Smithsonian National Museum of American History collects and preserves more than 3 million artifacts of American history and culture, from the War of Independence to the present day. The Smithsonian’s world class museum offers a wide range of exhibits that demonstrate the diversity of America’s history and culture.

3. Holocaust Museum

The Holocaust Memorial Museum is a memorial to the millions who died during the Nazi regime in Germany during World War II. The museum is located just off of the National Mall in Washington, DC. The permanent exhibition at the Holocaust Memorial Museum presents a narrative history of the Holocaust, the annihilation of 6 million European Jews By Nazi Germany from 1933 – 1945.
